This all copper fountain is tentatively named the "polyhocks". It is a sort of cross between a delphinium and a lupin. A personal interpretation of nature. They are a very difficult and time consuming fountain to make. Each bud and stem takes approximately 1 1/2 a month to build. When completed, this fountain will consist of 3 stems, and stand about 6 feet tall with a diameter of about 2 1/2 feet. The water will come out of the centre top of each bud about 3 inches and cascade down on the small flowers. The water diffusing and running down to the base. On each fountain there are separate shut-offs so each stem can be controlled. Therefore the water volume can be different for each stem. As noted before, according to the application, in or outdoors, the water can shoot up from 1 inch to 20 feet, according to water pressure. This fountain is very much a captivating work of art. It has not yet had water coursing through it and waits patiently to come alive. For more information or pricing please email paul@copperfountainsculptures.com. |
